Echevennoz to Aosta (Part II - the winding gear)

I have received complaints about a lack of winding gear in the last two days' posts, so here is some.  
I should like to take this opportunity to illustrate the difference between me and the Bro. At the same spot he'd take this shot showing winding gear against quarry.
And I'd take this one:

And here's something I spotted on the way in to Aosta (now I'm just spoiling you).
