The first stage! (and the answer to the livestock question) Part II.

The path is rocky as it descends steeply at first, then becomes more obviously an ancient way, through woods, 
down through the lovely village of St Rhemy, where the pilgrims' presence is felt
And welcomed by the provision of cool fountains.

Then the church at Predumaz Falcoz, where the pilgrim can rest her sticks and admire the ancient buildings
And view down the valley.
