Stage 38: Acquapendente to Bolsena. Wild flowers and a lake. Part 2.

The countryside for the rest of the way was Spring getting fully underway; the usual complement of cuckoos, flower-filled meadows and views to the lake.

We descended to Bolsena,

consulted the Cotral bus app, waited for the stated bus…and then had to call our Montefiascone taxi, because it did not materialise. Bolsena looks worthy of further exploration, which we will be able to do at the start of the next stage.
